1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern all products and services supplied by Godfrey Engraving and Signs.
By placing an order, the customer agrees to these terms.
2. Quotations & Orders
- All quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise
- Orders are confirmed only after written approval and/or deposit
- Changes after approval may incur additional costs and delays
3. Artwork & Proof Approval
- Customers must carefully review proofs before approval
- Once approved, Godfrey Engraving and Signs is not liable for errors including spelling, layout, or design issues
- Artwork remains customer responsibility unless created by the company
3. Pricing & Payment
- Prices are subject to change without notice prior to order confirmation
- Deposit may be required before production
- Full payment is required before delivery unless credit terms are agreed
- Late payments may incur interest and collection costs
5. Production & Delivery
- Delivery times are estimates only
- Delays due to material shortages, design changes, or external factors are not the company’s liability
- Risk passes to the customer upon delivery or collection
6. Returns & Defects
- Custom-made products are non-refundable unless faulty
- Claims must be made within 7 days of receipt
- The company may repair, replace, or refund defective items at its discretion
7. Installation
- Installation services are subject to site access and safety conditions
- Additional charges may apply for unforeseen site requirements
8. Intellectual Property
- All designs, concepts, and artwork created by Godfrey Engraving and Signs remain company property unless agreed otherwise
- Customers must have permission to use supplied logos or designs
9. Intellectual Property
- The company is not liable for indirect or consequential loss
- Liability is limited to the value of the goods or services supplied
10. Warranty
- Products are warranted against manufacturing defects only
- Normal wear, misuse, environmental exposure, or improper installation is excluded
11. Force Majeure
The company is not responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the business operating jurisdiction.
